Responsibilities:
QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium.
Apply, design & develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks
Experience in BDD. Execute test scripts, analyze failures, report defects & generate test execution reports
Experience in API and GUI automation testing.
Advanced Knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns and SOLID principles. Collaborating with Product Owners and Software Developers to develop solutions. Good understanding of STLC, Testing Pyramid & SDLC.
Basic knowledge of database like Postgres or similar.
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
Experience with modern tools like Git etc.
Ability to work in team-oriented environment, and can work independently
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
5+ years of QA/testing experience in a software development organization, of which at least 5+ years must be hands-on automation
Experience in Test Automation Tools/Frameworks, preferably Selenium
Good at Manual & Automation Testing
API testing with tools such as Advanced REST client, SOAP UI or PostMan.
Strong Java knowledge
Excellent Analytical Skills
Knowledge in Testing Management tools like JIRA, HP-ALM and various scripting tools
Strong Database knowledge, able to write complex SQL Queries
Exposure to Waterfall & Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint) is desirable
Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written and verbal skills
