Must have hands-on testing experience in Data Centre network & infrastructure testing, with key involvement in testing of non-functional requirements.
At least 6+ years of experience on network & infrastructure testing pertaining to verification of build/configuration, resilience & maintenance of network & infrastructure.
Understanding of Service Management toolset (e.g. Service-Now) to manage operational tickets such as Incidents, Requests & Changes.
Hands on experience of testing monitoring & audit/journaling solutions supporting Data Centre network & infrastructure.
Must have recent demonstrable non-functional testing experience (within last 3 years) across network & infrastructure.
Previous test analysis or testing experience on a major infrastructure migration/upgrade project.
Testing experience in operational readiness type of test phases such as Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Service Management Acceptance Testing (SMAT), Disaster Recovery (DR) Test, etc.
Well versed with technical concepts related to Data Centre, or Co Location centre environments with strong understanding in key areas such as servers, operating systems, SAN, storage, infrastructure monitoring, LAN, WAN, Load Balancer, Firewall, inter/intra-site resilience & capacity/sizing.
In-depth knowledge of the full testing life cycle
Excellent coordination skills to liaise with internal & external stakeholders in order to prepare for & conduct Service Management or Model Office type of testing.
Possess strong investigative and analytical qualities.
Excellent experience on Risk based testing and Exploratory testing.
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity & rapid change.
Excellent communicator in English - both written & verbal.
Experience of full project life cycle delivery.
Able to contribute to an environment of continuous improvement.
Desirable
ISEB / ISTQB certified
Clear understanding of Service Management tool (e.g. Service-Now)
Familiar with production support arrangements including ITIL areas & Target Operating Model.
Ability to facilitate in-depth technical discussions to triage test defects.
