We are seeking a dedicated Automation Test Engineer Senior Specialist to join our growing company.
You will collaborate with other technical staff to create effective and reliable software updates and hotfixes to support our user base. As a software Test Specialist, you can put your passion for QA testing to work and help optimize our users’ experiences.
Your role and responsibilities:
Develop and implement test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation.
Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in day-to-day QA Activities.
Add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts and build the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization to maintain a high-quality bar. This can also include writing specialized testing tools for our software platform.
Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies.
Execute, troubleshoot and manage automated test cases and results.
Contribute to robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing.
Contribute to the building of a continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing process improvement activities.
Identify required improvements in the test and development processes; contribute to our automation tools that address specific needs.
Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace.
Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, and debugs software solutions.
Reports issues found back to development and/or project management teams and/or implementation teams.
Required to develop and maintain testing tools to be used by the broader team.
We expect you to have
Minimum of 9 yrs. of experience in QA & Testing. Should be expertise in Architecting Test Automation framework for web, API and mobile testing.
Must have worked on JAVA/Selenium/Python/Appium/Xcode or equivalent opensource.
Expertise in developing and maintaining REST/JSON API automation framework.
Good Knowledge of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience working on cloud platforms like saucelabs/browserstack.
Is required to test either front end or back end software components (or both) and apply industry best practice.
Expertise implementing parallel execution framework. Developing Cross browser framework implementations for windows MAC OS and ios devices.
Experience in performance testing, manual testing and regression testing.
Excellent in debugging issues with minimum turnaround time.
May also specialize in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or Process Improvement.
Experience working in Agile methodology.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitLab
Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Prior experience in Content management system are preferred.
Any certifications will be added advantage.
