Develop automation test scripts for browser/stand-alone applications on Squish primarily using Python
Ability to understand business requirements & transform them into test scenarios and test cases & Fix bugs in the automation test suite and
Participate in test case and test script reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Responsible for developing, articulating & executing the test automation strategy for the Siemens Spectrum products and solutions, working in close collaboration with local and global participants
Work with a team of test automation engineers and product development engineering counterparts to implement the automation strategy and drive test automation maturity
across one or more products/solutions in this team
Develop and drive technology strategy for integrating project testing with continuous-integration process
Expertise in test management using JIRA
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback as well as plan and prioritize testing tasks
Able to test business applications from a business and technical perspective to ensure that all client requirements are incorporated into the design.
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4 to 6 years of experience in test automation
Strong knowledge of Software QA Methodologies, tools, processes and Agile Methodologies
Should have good hands-on experience on Squish and Pythion, Windows, UNIX/Linux
Good Communication skills & solution analysis capabilities
Deep knowledge and hands on expertise of automated testing frameworks and languages (Selenium, Squish)
Business process understanding and good new process grasping skills.
Good understanding of SDLC process - developing/maintaining Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Defect Tracking and Reporting for Manual and Automation Test environments.
Able to review system requirement and track quality assurance metrics while monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Good to have knowledge in technologies such as JavaScript, C#. ASP.NET, MVC, ADO.NET, HTML, CSS, jQuery and SQL Server, Python will be added advantage.
