Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Takes complete Ownership of testing a product or release and ensures high quality deliverables
Formulate end to end V&V strategy for a product/subsystem
Plan, design and execute agile testing and verification activities of the program/project in consultation and alignment with team
Participates in review of Requirements, Test Plans and test cases
Creates and maintains traceability for the subsystem/product
Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques.
Participates in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps.
Be passionate about software quality and be prepared to advocate on behalf of good processes and best practices.
Lead a team of test engineers, if needed. Demonstrate the ability work with team members.
Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
Seeks knowledge of the business, market, industry and competitive environment.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer/ Electronics Engineering, Computer Science with 5-8 years of work experience in testing/verification.
Experience in at least one complete product development life cycle from concept to release.
Experience in manual product/software testing. Experience in automation testing is a plus.
Expertise in Test design, test data creation and maintenance
Well versed with software testing techniques
Experience in technically leading a team of test engineers.
Experience with Medical Devices and FDA Regulations will be an advantage.
Strong communication (written and verbal), documentation and presentation skills.
Strong debugging/problem-solving skills.
Good teamwork skill with never-give-up attitude.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
Demonstrated success in delivering results on technical challenges
