Core Responsibilities
Understand our customer’s core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them.
Participate in the full lifecycle of agile projects.
Participate in Requirement gathering, System Analysis, Team management and Stakeholder interaction for timely delivery.
Analyze data from different source systems to assess data quality.
Ensure Test readiness in terms of Test Environment setup, Test data handling, Test management/automation tools.
Help to promote good coding standards and practices to ensure high quality.
Develop/Implement Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case Design, Test Execution and Test Summary reports.
Should be able to provide technical guidance to peers and junior resources.
High degree of reliability and a strong team player.
Logical and process-oriented mindset.
Good communication skills (spoken and written).
Required Skill/Experience
Able to test solutions that are fit for purpose, perform well with large data volume and complex data transformation rules
Understanding of ETL processes and practices
SQL & Relational Databases
Big Data concepts
Programming skills in at least one language used in the Big Data space e.g. Java, Python
Test Management Tools (JIRA, HP ALM etc.)
Ability to use Linux / Unix environments for testing
Shell Scripting experience
Communication skill (spoken and written)
Desirable Skill/Experience
Teradata
Cloud services e.g. AWS/ Azure.
Exposure to AbInitio Tool
Domain experience in finance, banking , Insurance
Exposure to Test Automation (scripting or any other tools)
Your qualifications
Essential:
Bachelors in CS, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative discipline or comparable industry experience
Minimum 7 years of Experience in ETL Testing and Big data testing
Desirable:
Experience in AWS /Cloud Services
Banking domain experience
ISTQB certification
