Dell Technologies is currently looking for an experienced Test Senior Engineer to configure and bring-up setups to develop automation framework suites and automate test suites. You will play a key role in configuring different SUT (System under test) comprising of Server, Storage, Networking and Virtualization. As Test Senior Engineer, you will be responsible to understand the team’s automation requirements and build automation on-prem environment and other supported solutions. You will work as part of the CloudLink Test team, work with Dev, manual team members, technologist, and Scrum teams to automate Web/CLI/REST based on appliance. With your knowledge, you will perform hardware configuration and virtualization knowledge and expertise to further mature ISG product capabilities.
You will:
Should be able to develop test cases, automation test scripts, drive/lead test modules and programs
Configure and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure involving industry standard automation framework and security compliance suites
Work very closely with Dev, QA, and DevOps team to fulfil their hardware, software and virtualization configuration needs
Work with stakeholders including – Technologist, scrum teams, work with Dell software partners and Enterprise server teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Work with support teams to reproduce and root cause field issues.
Conduct performance, interoperability testing and document reference architectures
Interlock with Lab, Material management and IT teams to procure and manage lab infrastructure bring-up and update all the required test configurations
Prepare hardware, OS and VM test setup configurations
Should actively participate in other team initiatives
Should be willing to take initiative to come-up with innovative ways of solving problems
Essential Requirements:
Good hands-on working knowledge on automation tools and scripting technologies – Python / Selenium / Protractor.
Should be able to work on automation framework level and drive automation strategy for the team.
Extensive knowledge of software test techniques and methodologies.
Experience with Enterprise Server hardware and technologies including storage controllers, Ethernet adapters, memory modules, processor models, remote management cards, Virtualization - VMware vSphere, Windows Hyper-V experience required.
Knowledge and Clusters and VMs is required.
Good written and communication skills.
Self-driven. Good in time management.
Desirable Requirements:
Industry standard certification in Automation
6+ years of experience with educational Qualification (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA)
