The Sr. Test Engineer position is responsible for developing test plans and for building, executing, and automating associated test cases across our products.
What you will do:
Build, execute, and automate test cases based on test plans and functional requirements
Conduct functional testing of new requirements and enhancements of applications
Perform peer reviews of test scripts, results and documentation
Interpret and report testing results and advocate for quality in every phase of the development process
Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
What you will need
Strong IT professional with 4-6 years of experience in software testing (websites and/or mobile applications). The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.
Must have:
4+ year of QA experience
Experience in manual and automated testing
Experience automating test cases using multiple language - Java, JavaScript, or Python
Experience with more than one industry standard test automation tool such as Selenium, Nightwatch, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, Cucumber, Appium, and Report Portal
Experience with UI and API testing
Experience in estimation, prioritization, and delivery of QA activities in a Scrum environment
Proficiency with test case management and defect management software and processes, including JIRA
Who you are
Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.
Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies
