Responsibilities:
Understands continuous integration and continuous delivery; capable of building robust, automated testing suites through all environments.
Understand how exploratory testing is utilised in an agile environment and understands how to perform unscripted testing. Strong Test Engineers work with the team to implement test charters which give exploratory testing sessions a clear mission, without being too prescriptive.
Proficient in the application of Behavioural Driven Development (BDD).
Executes operational acceptance tests, such as checking backup/restore facilities, disaster recovery procedures and the arrangements for performing maintenance tasks before releasing your software.
Test for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, to ensure that the product is accessible to the widest possible number of users.
Can undertake accessibility test wherever required
Can manage small teams and deliver independently
Manage the defect lifecycle and have the ability to advise on tests to put in place after fixes are made.
Knowledge & Skills:
Confidence & excellent communication: Able to converse and interact with Product owners Delivery leads and Portfolio leads on Test activities
Cypress/Selenium/Playwright, C#, JavaScript, SQL, API Testing (Postman/Swagger)- Ability to use opensource tools and off shelf tools and open to experiment new tools. Can work in a TDD and BDD process using Gherkins like language
Postman and Rest assured – Ability to use API test for augmenting test coverage and ability to test early and fix early
Azure Pipeline execution and knowledge of QA- Devops operations is preferred
Browserstack
Java, React.js, node.js understanding of Frontend and Backend systems and can-do basic debugging and configuration
Excellent analytical abilities and abilities to debug and walkthrough issues
Analyse user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
Execute all levels of testing (Functional, System, Integration, API, Performance and Regression).
Write and execute automated regression scripts.
Run manual and automated tests.
Build and maintain continuous delivery pipeline(Dev ops).
Good to Have
Azure and Dev ops, Performance testing experience, Role-Based Security Testing
Experience:
7+ Yrs. of Experience in Test planning and Test Automation and 2+ years of experience leading the team
