Roles & Responsibilities include:
• Understand business requirements.
• Set up the required test beds and create test data required for testing.
• Review test cases with Test Lead.
• Should be able to lead a small team of Test Engineers
• Should be able to assist the Test Lead in estimations and resource planning
• Analyze, design and write test cases based on system requirements and design specification.
• Attend meetings and coordination with onsite project team and development team.
• Developing and executing Manual test cases to ensure end to end quality of product.
• Defect Reporting, Coordination with Development team, Defect logging, Defect tracking.
• Defect triaging and classify to the module.
• Help developers in root cause analysis and resolving issues.
• Follow the set testing process and ensure compliance.
• Provide execution and summary reports according to project requirements.
Work Experience :
• 4 to 8 years of experience in testing. Preferably in System Integration Testing
• Experience in Embedded or Mobile Testing - Preferably both
• Hands on experience on HPQC or any Defect Management tool - For e.g. JIRA / Bugzilla
• Experience in agile testing Skill Set & Tools: Embedded Testing, Mobile Testing, System Integration Testing, Automation Testing (nice to have) , Security Testing (nice to have), API Testing, HP Quality Center / Jira / Bugzilla, Agile process knowledge, Soap UI, IBM Rational tools
• Strong analytic skills and logical reasoning/problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• ISTQB (Foundation) or CSTE certification
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or related technical discipline is a must.
