The role demands you to be a Test expert with good knowledge of Banking domain
The role has following key responsibilities
Requirements:
Understand overall test strategy considering manual and automation testing coverage
Understand system specifications, technical design
Analyze use cases for quality and validation
Develop test cases as per test strategy
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders for test strategy and planning
Testing
Plan, develop, maintain and execute test cases.
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression).
Design, develop and maintain automation scripts where feasible.
Report and track defects
Facilitate defect triage meetings
Provide support and documentation
Provide test reports for releases and document improvement findings for next cycle
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC
Conduct defect analysis and drive defect prevention plan and actions
Support
Testing support for Incident, Problems and Change handling.
UAT for product releases, CR and patch delivery.
This position needs
Relevant experience of 3-6 years in IT testing domain, including manual, automation testing and test management.
Working experience in enterprise projects
Experience with requirement understanding, test case creation, test case execution Experience in defect management, defect analysis, unit testing, integration testing, system testing and user acceptance testing.
Experience in test automation using testing tools – like Selenium with Java or C# or Python
Experience in testing solutions based on Microsoft full stack with .NET, SQL DB and reporting tools
Knowledge of Database testing or SQL queries
Familiarity with functional testing in financial domain preferably finance product testing experience with Wealth - Capital markets, Insurance, Credit Lending, Cash management etc.
Experience in security testing, performance testing, usability testing will be an added advantage
Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools
Good understanding of SDLC & STLC
Experience in using Test And Defect management tools (VSTS/TFS, Quality Center, Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow etc.)
Should be a quick learner and like to explore and work on new technologies.
Excellent skills – communication, collaboration, interpersonal, presentation, perseverance, team player.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or other engineering or technical discipline is required
Based in Pune but willingness to travel.
