Performs the role of a Verification and Validation lead & handle all the verification & validation activities/deliverables of a release
Build complete design verification and product release evidence
Provide product quality insight during the complete project lifecycle
Define and deploy an integration and verification test strategy to enable an efficient and effective product release and aligned with the validation strategy
Realize risk based integration and verification strategy and a resource plan with Work Breakdown Structure
Perform system release
Leads test strategy, including influencing decisions on product / solution design
Handle the estimation, planning , resource identification and risk management activities related to test
Participates in Review of test deliverables
Develops the vision and standards on testing including vision on automation
Provide inputs to test automation team on the automation feasibility & what needs to be automated
Lead and participate in test case development, review, execution, reporting and traceability
Manages stakeholders across multiple businesses or sites and within and beyond own business
Ownership of completeness of all test documents
Manages technical communication within team and partners/stakeholders
Participates in test improvements & automation improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
Look for the opportunities of test automation in the assigned areas.
Mentor the junior testers on test activities as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Apply test framework/methodologies
Provide status update to management on overall test execution progress & test deliverables status
Supports Technical lead and/or Integral Project Manager with plan and planning
Contribute to department plans, strategies and roadmap activities
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Bachelor degree in engineering or other relevant discipline
10+ years of experience on test discipline, test strategy and planning
Work experience in manual testing is a must. Should possess strong manual testing skills
Prior experience in automation testing is preferred
Experience in healthcare industry is preferred
Experience with performance testing, reliability testing, compatibility testing is required
Exposure to Programming skills (preferably C#) is preferred
Exposure on automation tools, BDD, Gherkin, Specflow & scripting languages is preferred
Strong experience in application life cycle management tools like ALM/PTC/TFS used for Verification activities
Good understanding of the defect management procedures and tools
Good understanding of configuration management & related tools is required
Expertise in test strategy, test design skills and able to guide the team on these
Strong knowledge on the healthcare standards and its relevance to verification and validation activities
Good understanding/exposure of Healthcare regulatory submissions is preferred
Good understanding/experience of the healthcare/Interoperability standards is advantage
Well versed with SAFe way of working
