Work very closely with Test Manager and Engineering Leads to maintain the quality check on all the deliveries to meet complex testing needs of various projects.
Responsible and supporting test automation implementation to cater more deliveries and create capacity within Testing Tower
What will you be doing?
Relevant Experience 7-10 years
Time Split: 80% Project Delivery, 20% Non-Core Delivery (including Transformation tasks)
Works on complex Payments testing assignments.
Manage Testing for of systems and applications to ensure they meet or exceed specified standards and end user requirements. This includes Functional, operational and DIRP testing
Defining effective Test strategy and Test Planning,
Participate in requirement analysis, identifying Test scenarios and deriving test cases, identification of right test data requirement, Defect Management, Requirment traceability metrics and Test closure documentations.
Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
Have heavy focus on getting the team to automation end state
Responsible for test automation from initial feasibility study till implementation for different phases of testing
Defect management and tracking using tools like Jira
Work in Agile model
Ensure key risks and issues are highlighted in timely manner individually and DSR/WSR etc.
Maintain excellent stakeholder relation and manage/drive RAIDS for the project.
Mentoring junior members of the team.

Mandatory:
Strong experience in Software testing Life Cycle and Defect Management
Exposure to Functional, NFT and OAT testing
Excellent stakeholder relation and manage/drive RAIDS for the project.
Good hands on on Test planning and implementation
Experience of analysing requirement and identifying scenarios and data setup for maximum test coverage
Experience of using test management tools (e.g. Jira / Agile Central) to manage testing activity and to provide testing metrics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and pragmatic approach to changes on projects
Experience in automation implementation
Self driven and innovative
Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
Has ability to withstand pressure without diluting QA process
Nice to have:
Good exposure of E2E testing
Exposure to Unix / Linux skills, SQl, Java
Technical testing background desirable
Domain Experience:
Working experience in Swift MT messages and Interact XML messages
Excellent working experience in different Payemnt Schemes like CHAPS, Target2 etc
Nice to have:
Swift experience along with different transactions including cross border payments
Experience in industry testing or scheme certification testing
Skills that will help you in the role:
Formal testing qualifications
Any Degree, preferably in computer science
Experience of the BFSI domain test automation.
