We are looking for a meticulous Validation engineer that will help maintain product quality of the various software modules.
In this role, you will be working with cross functional teams across the company to benchmark the systems with best-in-class quality metrics.
You will be responsible to deliver a defect free product of IoT based solution to customers.
You will perform various types of testing like Functional, Integration, End2End Testing, Usability Testing, Compatibility Testing, Load Testing, API Testing, Smoke and Sanity Testing.
You should have a passion for user experience, empathy with users, and the ability to upgrade your technical skills within the constantly changing technology sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare & review of test cases and ensure coverage of testing as per the Test Strategy and requirements.
Designing and developing test automation scripts.
Simulation of various field conditions during product testing as per field environment.
Interact and engage with Product and development to deliver a high-quality product.
Execute all levels of testing (Functional, System, Integration, and Regression)
Understanding project requirements, customer needs, and product objectives to create and execute Test scenarios and Test cases.
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Be involved in a continuous improvement of testing process in design, development and delivery.
Investigating customer problems, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
Researching test tools, methodologies and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
Managing the final quality on production release.
Set up hardware IoT systems and test out the new features on different versions of the setup.
Understanding product data flow and how it interacts with different components.
Beyond the functional testing, you will also get an opportunity to do some data driven testing i.e. to look at the data coming from the IoT devices and then decide on the pass/fail of the test.
You can grow up to write different test scripts in Python notebook that can assemble collected data for different data driven tests to perform automation accordingly.
Requirements and Qualifications:
B.Tech., B.E. or MCA degree.
3-5 years of work experience in Manual and Automated test environments.
Experience on Selenium/Appium.
Understanding V model testing process.
Understanding of Wireshark and J-meter tools
Exposure to web application, Micro-services based development environment.
Exposure to the latest technologies and UNIX/Linux environment.
Knowledge of any scripting language & SQL.
The ability to recognize risks and errors in an application.
The ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems, isolating them and finding root cause.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
