This position is to perform the responsibilities of the Functional Tester with focus on Product quality.
Responsibilities
The position includes following responsibilities.
Test and automate high quality products
Perform trouble shooting as needed
Accountable for test coverage of affected components and functional areas
Drive test improvements based on Fault Slip through analysis
Give recommendation to team PO for F- decisions
Keep the team updated with test strategies & tools
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Authority
Give recommendation to team PO on the quality of the deliverable
Requirement of the job
Competency
Relevant experience in both manual and automation testing, worked in different types of testing
Knowledge on RHEL based cluster set-up is mandatory
Rich experience in Test Automation especially automation GUI/Non-GUI based components
Knowledge on Bigdata ecosystem is an added advantage
Knowledge in test strategy (automation), test planning, tool evaluation
Good knowledge in CI/CD with adequate experience in incorporating the automated test suites in the Continuous Integration setup of the organization
Mandatory skills – Jenkins, and at least one or more of java-based frameworks like Junit, TestNG, Jive etc
Follow Agile-Scrum process
Be a champion for quality, process improvements
A university degree or equivalent
Knowledge in any programming language like Java, Python or Go Lang
