Responsibilities:
Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end.
Create and execute test plans for existing products and features.
Work with development teams to define testing protocol for new features as they are designed and developed.
Participate in team and cross functional project meetings and provide additional cross functional test support for other team members
Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability.
Providing detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA.
Writing test plans and cases based on PRDs
Work closely with developers, product and program managers to test and validate new features & file issues
Execute regression
Sign off for releasing to our customers
Work on automation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or the other equivalent field.
4+ Years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer(Automation at least 2+ years)
Familiarity with both functional and Automation scripting.
Familiarity with design principles of mobile platform.
Proficient in code versioning tools, preferably Git.
Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
Experience with continuous integration.
Combination of solid in-depth knowledge of quality assurance, solid understanding of web/mobile technologies, as well as knowledge of automation tools Eg – Selenium, Appium, Robot, XCUI, Espresso etc.
Familiarity with Zephyr
Passion for all things mobile - especially applications on phones and tablets
Experience working on different applications and operating systems: iOS and various flavors of Android
Experience manually building apps onto the simulator or devices with Xcode and Android Studio
Ability to work independently and within a testing team
