As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will
Collaborate with a diverse team of developers and UI/ UX team to test and enhance the quality of our products.
Write automation scripts that focus on simplicity, readability and testability.
Actively participate in our product roadmap to balance delivery speed and quality.
Expertise you bring
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of proven experience (as an SDET or strong Automation Engineer) in creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation.
Experience in testing Rest APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services.
Automated test experience with Selenium.
Good programming experience in Python and Golang.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Azure.
Experience working on Agile teams in product development.
Experience in using test frameworks like Pytest, TestNG.
Experience with Continuous Integration.
Good analytical skills.
Excellence in communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills.
Mentoring/ training the team members on complex technical issues.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
Set up the automation environment and ramp up on our product.
Work closely with the frontend and backend Automation QAs and start automating new components and also help with the peer reviews.
Identify any product and process gaps.
Increase the test automation coverage with the team so as to free up QA manual testing efforts.
Propose new improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team’s speed, quality and efficiency.
