Key Responsibilities:
Be part of a team that will be building SAAS products from scratch.
As a QA you have expertise on testing scalable API's with microservice architecture.
Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Reporting and documenting technical issues
Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches, tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
Support teams to be highly productive with a high degree of ownership
Establish a high performing, inclusive engineering culture focused on innovation, execution, growth and development.
Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Proven experience as a QA for at least 3+ years
Experience working in an agile environment
Knowledge of standard QA methodology like Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, UAT etc
Working knowledge on REST API Testing with Postman etc
Experience writing automated tests in at least one general purpose programming language like Python, Ruby, Golang etc
Experience in Regression testing & Defect life cycle
Knowledge of tools like Jira for project management
Excellent communication skills
Qualifications and Prior Experience:
BE/ B. Tech. or above in Computer Science /Software Engineering
3+ years of relevant industry experience
3+ years of experience as a Software Development Test Engineer in the top product or enterprise SaaS with hands-on experience in relevant technologies. Previous experience in a start-up will be a big plus.
