Job Description

Job responsibilities:
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Designing and implement performance test plans and test cases.
Conducts performance testing using tools like JMeter, Blazemeter, Gatling and Taurus
Monitors system performance in real-time using AWS CloudWatch and ThousandEyes
Create Dashboards and reports using Grafana or Quicksight to visualize performance metrics.
Proactively collaborate with development and product teams to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Strong programming skills in Python or Java
Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
Experience with Taurus or other test automation orchestration tools
Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Grafana or Quicksight
Experience with Influx DB or Prometheus for gathering performance stats.
Hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring
Knowledge of ThousandEyes for network performance monitoring
Experience with AWS Kubernetes services
Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
Experience with other AWS services like Lambda, EKS etc.
