Role/Responsibilities:
The Performance Test Engineer’s primary responsibilities include driving performance and stability improvements of critical business applications working closely with application development, infrastructure, database and middleware teams.
Work closely with and mentor more junior performance engineers, help stablish the organization’s performance roadmap, and build a world-class performance engineering team.
Performance testing of diverse applications through pre-production environments based on use cases.
Provide analysis of performance testing results and provide insights into where optimization opportunities and application inefficiencies exist.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineer, Software Development.
5+ years experience in a Performance Engineering role. Experience with JMeter, HP LoadRunner, appDynamics, Splunk, Grafana or any other APM tools.
Experience in running Automated performance tests in CI/CD pipelines.
Performance testing applications in both private and public Cloud environments.
Passionate to optimize the performance bottlenecks and drive improvements.
Ability to communicate with and present to engineers, senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
Strong attention to details, debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities
