BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Proven ability to write automated tests
Solid track record and 8+ years of experience in building automation suites for large scale enterprise applications.
Experience with Selenium, Cucumber and test frameworks like Test NG, Jest etc
Experience with manual/automated testing of complex applications requiring high level of business knowledge.
Handson experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, web services, UI screens, source code control software
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, build, manage and run multiple automation suites.
Agile based development/delivery experience.
Hands on design and development role on QA Automation in an application built on modern tech stack (Java, Hadoop, JMS/MQ ).
Detailed understanding of common defect and data-management tools
Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile, and test automation strategies
Perform end-to-end automation of an application and day to day maintenance - ensure functionalities built are automated in sprint and to the highest quality.
Manual testing of a crucial application that interacts with a lot of systems - understand business ,features, screens and learn ,deliver quickly.
Ownership of daily running of automation suites, update & maintain automation suites.
SRE/DevOps knowledge will be highly preferable.
Experience working effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals
Proficiency in a business function and some understanding of the broader business context
