QAD is seeking an QA Automation Engineer who will perform professional Quality Assurance functions outlined below. Non-complex testing activities are performed independently. Maintain the automated functional tests and integration tests. You will also be responsible for analyzing results and maintaining communication with functional teams and writing/updating the automated test scripts.
What You’ll Do:
Execute manual and/or automated tests and ensure test completion. Document, retest and track defects until resolved. Define, produce, maintain and report applicable test metrics.
Regularly monitor test results, Analyze issues identified during tests and identify the source of defect as functional, data or test case.
Maintain the test scripts and test cases as per quality standards and procedures
Become familiar with the functional aspects of the application.
Create / update documentation as required and maintain communication with stakeholders.
Maintain proficiency in new testing tools enabling patch testing by training formally and informally.
Qualifications
2 to 5 years Experience in QA and test scriptwriting with Testcomplete, Selenium or any other test automation tools.
QAD experience candidates who are willing to work in QA enviornment are preferred.
IT background (BE, B.Sc IT, M.Sc, BCA, MCA) or Non IT background with appropriate certification. Cleared your graduation in the first attempt
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix & RDBMS is mandatory
Basic knowledge of Jmeter is desirable
Functional and general concept of Supply chain and / or ERP is good to have
Good spoken & written English skills
Willing to learn QAD products
Knowledge on automated testing tools
ISTQB certified good to have
Python programming language knowledge is desirable.
