Roles and Responsibility:
QA Automation Engineer role in a software product engineering group.
Develops automated test scripts for testing software product.
Involved in every step of software development- Design, development, testing.
Good in programming and test automation tools embracing latest and greatest tools and techniques on this area.
Basic Programming skills to generate test data and database operations and SQL.
Active participation in developing high performance software.
Skills in performance testing, develop ideas in performance tuning of software is a plus.
Adaptive to full technology stack on fast paced on job learning
Comfortable with Agile development and rapid prototyping
Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis.
Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience level – 3 - 6 years(Automation Exp)
Strong web automation skills using Selenium or any one of the popular testing frameworks, with combination of java/ c# / java script / python as programming / scripting language
Strong experience in Functional test automation, REST API testing and DB testing
Experience with tools like Cucumber, Postman and DB skills like basic SQL knowledge is required
Strong experience STLC, Testing techniques and process is mandatory
Production debugging is a plus.
Good analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently.
Shows agility and flexibility in taking assignments.
