Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and Security testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
Perform manual testing to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools.
Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify issues and report them to the development team.
Participate in bug tracking, defect resolution, and troubleshooting efforts.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues and provide detailed reports.
Stay updated with industry trends, new testing tools, and technologies to recommend improvements in the testing process.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, as needed.
Required Skill Set and Experience
B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years experience in testing roles.
Well versed with Manual and Security Testing.
Possess good knowledge of using Testlink or other similar tools.
Basic understanding of any one framework like Data Driven Framework, Keyword Driven Framework, Hybrid Framework.
Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Agile development practices is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
