Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking Software Engineer with minimum 18 months of experience in Mainframes Testing.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET
Mainframe Applications: Experience/knowledge with any supporting systems of mainframe technologies is required.
Software Development Methodology: Agile Methodology.
Tools: JIRA, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, any DB (Good to have).
Candidate should have strong in COBOL, JCL, IMSDB and DB2.
Should have good hold on Membership, Claims domains.
Should have good knowledge in mainframe screen navigations.
Candidate should have knowledge on Service oriented architecture or Web services.
Understanding of requirements in the format of JIRA stories.
Analyze and interpret requirements, design and technical specification documents.
Develop test cases in the way of technical and business teams should have understand.
Coordinate/execute testing across multiple testing phases, including SIT and Regression.
Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 24 months experience in Mainframe technologies using COBOL, JCL, IMSDB and DB2.
Experience > 6 months in US healthcare domain is a must.
Experience in Membership, Claims domains.
Hands on experience in COBOL,JCL,IMSDB and DB2 is a must.

Good comprehending & articulation skills - English Language
Good/ Excellent communication skills - Both written and Spoken English
Good logical thinking ability
Good to have knowledge in using JIRA,SOAP UI, POSTMAN tools.
