Responsibilities include:
Active involvement in setting and configuring test environments
Active involvement in requirement verification referring requirement specifications and product backlog
Verification of Varian Products & Features – Sound in manual testing
Prepare verification test procedures
Identify & Report defects. Verify defect resolutions.
Active participation in Defect Resolution Cycle
Active participation in the review of engineering deliverables (I.e. Product requirements specifications, verification and validation plan, verification test cases etc.)
Prepare Verification Test reports as required.
Work in compliance with Varian’s quality system.
As a part of status reporting, will gather different test metrics
Work in compliance with Varian’s quality system
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Sound understanding of agile testing and Scrum
Strong understanding of approaches relating to functional and non-functional testing,
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Must be familiar with the SDLC in general and Testing Life Cycle in particular.
Knowledge on Jama/Quality Center and Clear Quest
Must poses good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management, organization and inter-personal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as participating in a team of professionals.
Previous Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in the software industry in Manual and Automation Testing
A background in healthcare or medical domain is desirable
A background in a product-development company is preferred
Background in testing hospital information/practice management /electronic medical record system would be an added advantage
Experience working with agile model would be an added advantage
Experience working in a multi-site environment would be an advantage
Experience in working with a multi-site environment and oncology information system would be an advantage
