Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain effective test automation solutions which meet requirements and specifications. (Smoke, Functional, Regression, Performance, scalability etc.)
Writes and executes complete testing plans with test bed and other QA documentation for web application & APIs.
Design automation test suite for UI/API tests and ability to identify opportunities for automation and create scripts.
Responsible for finding and logging the defects (& for correctness of logged defects). Ensure to benchmark the defects with reference (Specification).
Provide QA test reports including defect analysis, RCA, summary reports for every sprint/release
Should be able to take part in requirement Analysis.
Collaborates and communicates with all stakeholders regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experiences in testing & automating web application and API with cloud-based architectures including serverless, microservices is desirable.
Experienced in developing tools or frameworks to test Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios and white box testing of web applications/microservices.
Automation testing experience using tools like Selenium, Python, JMeter etc., knowledge of DevOps methodology and associated tools.
Familiarity and in-depth knowledge of SW Engineering Concepts & SDLC process, MongoDB, RDBMS, AWS/GCP/Azure etc.
Supporting and enhancing the QA Methodologies to ensure delivery of high-quality product releases.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Proven analytical skills, root-cause analysis skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills and decision-making ability.
Critical thinking with great interpersonal & communication skills, ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
