Position Summary:
As a Quality Analyst with expertise in Selenium, C#, and Manual Testing, specializing in web applications developed using .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL/Oracle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web applications.
Your Day-to-Day:
Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans and testing strategies for web applications.
Utilize Selenium and C# to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
Execute automated tests to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications.
Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed information for developers to facilitate prompt resolution.
Verify the functionality and user experience of web applications developed using .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in the backend databases (SQL/Oracle).
Ensure accurate data retrieval and manipulation within the web application.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate testing progress and results.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum activities.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Identify opportunities for test automation to increase efficiency.
What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software testing.
Proven experience as a Quality Analyst with expertise in Selenium, C#, and manual testing.
Strong understanding of web application testing and the .NET development stack.
Proficiency in SQL for database testing (SQL/Oracle).
Experience with test management tools and version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Knowledge in Building Automation suite using C# and Visual studios.
