Responsibilities:
Participate in requirements and design review of automation requirements
Create and execute automation test scripts using Selenium Java and Web services testing using SoapUI, Rest Assured.
Create and Enhance the automation test framework
Ensure that all security measure is taken to protect PII data in the test environment.
Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established quality standards and test automation framework for application integration, system performance, and corresponding documentation.
Assist in process improvement initiatives by working across technical teams to enhance systems, processes, and controls to ensure effective development, monitoring, and support is in place.
Work with automation testing with a global test team across different locations and different time zones
Review and Analyze test data requirements from different testing groups and guide them to secure test data for testing.
Automate regression test cases and execute automated scripts for multiple releases.
Analyze the automation test results and socialize the automation test progress to project stakeholders.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, or business administration or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience as a SDET, QA automation engineer
Strong expertise and hands-on work experience in Selenium Automation. designing and building Selenium Test Automation.
3-5 years of experience in development and/or test automation in Java
Proven ability to do Object Oriented design for backend application components and for testing frameworks and tools
Proven ability to review and write code with an ability to understand teammate's code
Solid experience in test case design and test planning
Expertise in a variety of testing and QA practices, concepts, and procedures
Hands-on experience with testing processes and issue life-cycle in a continuous deployment environment
Hands-on experience with the software development life-cycle in an agile environment
Knowledge of TOSCA and other test automation tools is an added advantage.
