Execute test cases manually on real Hardware / Head Units or automation testing on the simulator.
Analyse test results along with failure analysis.
Reports issues to team lead / developer.
Flashing/updating embedded software into target head units.
Writing new test automation as per project needs.
Create and maintain test cases in the test management tool.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
Develop automation test scripts in Python or equivalent lang as per project needs.
Create and maintain test setups for embedded components (test bench and car)
Solve integration and configuration issues of hardware and software of test setups as per project needs
Reproduce issues and verify fixes in a test environment in collaboration with QA lead/developers.
Collaborate with developers, project /QA manager, and other QA team members.
May also requires collaboration with multiple teams on different continents.
Escalate issues, concerns, and risks to the project manager / QA manager / QA lead.
Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Requirements:
Ideally 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience in QA testing - manual and automation testing.
Ability to write automation code in Python or any other equivalent lang.
Should be flexible to adapt to programming langs.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong self-reliance.
Exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and managing tasks independently.
Excellent team player.

Previous experience with software development and quality engineering in the automotive industry.
