Responsibilities:
Understanding the Automation Frameworks and start building scripts with minimal guidance at the earliest.
Hands-on with test preparation, scripting, and execution in the Agile and DevOps environment
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure business requirement completeness
Develop test scripts and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested within the sprint
Ensure maximum feasible automation coverage after each sprint.
Preparation, scripting, review and update of test cases and relevant test data consistent with system requirements including functional, integration & regression
Be proactive and follow Shift-left testing approach in identifying the issues early and following up on them efficiently
Support quality assurance initiatives and help institutionalize best practices

Qualifications
Have at least 2 years of experience in testing application written in two or more languages/framework like Python, Java, C#, Angular or React.
Understand test framework using Selenium, JMeter and postman.
Experience in testing relatively complex DB queries (any relational DB) is desirable.
Experience in testing RESTful APIs using Python and web frameworks such as Flask is desirable.
Understanding of any of the ORM tools like SQLAlchemy, Django is desirable.
Working knowledge on cloud services of AWS (or Azure) is highly desirable.
Understanding of applications built with containerization like Docker is nice to have.
Skillful in writing high-quality, well-articulated test cases and test automation.
Comfortable with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban
