You will:
Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications
Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements
Use defined software lifecycle methodologies
Review and implement test strategies for software products
Essential Requirements
Requires 2+ years of QA experience with a Bachelor’s/Master's degree
Hands on experience on testing with VMware vCenter and vSphere ESXi products
Expertise in VMware vCenter/vSphere advanced concepts such as DRS/HA clusters with hands-on knowledge
Hands on experience with manual testing lifecycle starting from planning until close looping of escaped defects
Experience and knowledge in lab setup building/ hardware configuration of VMware infrastructure such as vCenter, ESXi, vSAN etc
Expertise in using test management systems like Jira, Qtest etc
Desirable Requirements
Hands on experience on testing with any data protection product
VMware Certifications (VCP) is added advantage
Java coding skills for automation of tests
