Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
Be part of an Agile team, participate in all Agile activities and be accountable for the sprint deliverables.
Manage assigned tasks, tracking tasks to completion and reporting on risks to project timelines
Contribute to periodic status reports on testing activities (daily, weekly, monthly)
Set up test environments as required including hardware, windows networking and installing software applications
Perform manual functional and regression testing
Perform volume, performance, reliability testing
Design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts for all components of a product to ensure the delivery of quality software products that meet customer specifications
Build UI test automation frameworks
Automate end to end complex system integrations
Reduce repetitive processes through automated solutions
Uses automated testing to facilitate daily testing activities.
Manage physical and virtual lab environments
Fulfills load testing requests and sets up appropriate load testing monitors on servers. Executes and analyzes load tests, and reports to product team members.
Applies good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to assist Developers with isolating the problem and determining the solution
Develops automation strategies that will enhance test execution, manual test coverage and the consistency of regression testing.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
7+ years’ experience in Software Quality role or equivalent
7+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering processes, procedures, and standards
4+ years’ experience in Automated test management using Jenkins or similar automation server
Experience in GUI Testing, Backend Testing and Database Testing
Experience in Enterprise software testing
Experience in developing Functional, Integration and end-end scenario test cases to validate business, system and operational requirements
Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture
Well experienced in API automation testing using SOAP and RESTful web services
Experience in building test automation framework for web-based and Desktop applications
Experience in automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Jenkins, Maven, BDD, Cucumber, TestNG, SOAP UI, Rest Assured, Test Café, Kubernetes
Excellent knowledge of performance test systems.
Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Git)
Demonstrated ability to master technical details of multiple complicated software solutions; understanding technical and usability aspects as they related to quality and usability
Experience with network management, computer hardware setup and software installations
Self-directed individual who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
