• Manage a SW Solution Integration Test organization to deliver high quality solutions and improve customer experience
• Create and manage Solution test roadmap, execute and deliver projects and releases of our Retail Point of Sale solution
• Communicate directly with partners, stakeholders from Product management, Presales, Professional services and support to understand and resolve problems both tactically
• Ensure customer commitments are achieved using defined requirements and schedules to produce high quality deliverables in a challenging and dynamic environment.
• Design and implement integration strategy for complex end-to-end systems that comprise the NCR solutions • Develop solution-based test automation (functional and non-functional) strategy across solution industries
• Identify and implement process improvements for engineering and testing practices across the hardware and software organizations, assess and implement best practices for solution integration and test to result in higher quality releases
• Research new tools and technologies and improve current testing solutions • Derive the automated and continuous testing strategy to build a pipeline and improve the overall certification process efficiency
• Report quality to the stakeholders by building respective KPIs and dashboards representing improved quality • Improve and maintain talent pool within the organization
• Provide effective mentoring and management of a team such that individual contributors have the opportunity and encouragement to grow in their respective careers • Provide technical leadership to team
• Perform yearly and quarterly performance management activities
• Work closely with other organizational managers and leaders when needed and appropriate.
• Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and / or refine solution integration and test best practices
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed university
• 8+ years of experience in driving a project delivery and minimum of 3 years of managing team
• 5+ years of test automation (Selenium/CodedUI), CI/CD (Jenins/GitAction) • 2+ years of performance testing experience (LoadRunner/Jmeter)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java, C# or Python including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principle
• Strong Retail/Commerce domain background
• Ability to effectively multi-task; Ability to drive issues to effective resolution; Ability to find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems
• Strong hands on experience handling both Windows and Linux based solution • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and standards
• Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Strong customer-centric attitude toward both external and internal customers
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Team oriented member who drives testing initiatives and leads through trust and respect, but also self-motivated and able to work independently using your initiative
• Able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Capable of building effective working relationships and motivate, inspire, and teach others
• Experience mentoring and training team members in automation and testing processes
• A real problem solver, ability to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external direction
• Strong personal accountability and ownership required
