Your responsibilities:
Attend the Sprint planning meeting and participate in sizing the test effort required to execute the User stories/requests from the Business Product Owners & Delivery Lead.
Analyze each story, contact Product Owner if needed and make sure that definition of done is clearly defined. Understanding the “Acceptance Criteria” and conducting a BDD walk-through with the PO.
Attend Business and Technical incubation sessions.
Write Test Cases in JIRA which covers both functional as well as integration testing.
Document the testing process and SOPs using Confluence.
Complete System testing & end-to-end testing to deliver NBCs (Next Best Conversations) which are offered across multiple channels such as NetBank, CommBank App, email, Call Centre, SMS and CommSee (used by branch Staff).
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team / platform
Your skills & experience
• Strong experience in API Testing;; DevTest; Git; Manual Testing; Source Code Management
• Strong experience in CI/CD, Git, SQL Test Automation.
• Good to have Skills on Python or JS.
• An ability to effectively communicate, educate and positively influence business users, stakeholders & other technical leadership groups, along with being the driving force in solving complex data problems would be highly essential. A passion to learn new skills along with a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude would be highly desirable.
Your qualifications:
Experience required in Visual Studio 2012, Postman, GitHub, Confluence, JIRA with Adaptavist test management, TeamCity , Gherkin language in Specflow, C# and NUnit, Fiddler and Firebug
