Work closely with developers to ensure the highest quality of software in a very agile environment
Ability to identify and communicate defects and ambiguities at all levels from requirements through implementation
Ability to understand the logical functional flows of the product, generate and understand manual test cases, and then automate the flows and scenarios
Understand the Ellucian Automation framework, the product’s automation framework and contribute to writing automation test scripts, execute and maintain them across all browsers
Manage and take ownership of automation with minimal supervision
Preparation of test coverage and regression analysis reports supporting high-quality delivery
Taking ownership of day-to-day deliverables and bringing them to a logical conclusion
Ability to work with a fast-paced high performing team built around the culture of trust and candor
What you will bring
2+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, writing, and executing effective manual test plans and test cases, documenting defects and tracking issue resolution
2+ years of strong demonstrable experience in writing test automation scripts (utilizing Java)
Involved in understanding, reviewing, and analyzing the customer requirements and prepare the test design to meet the finalized requirements
Experience in functional & non-functional testing types and deep understanding of architecture in order to exercise and validate non-functional requirements
Familiarity with GIT, Jira, Confluence & Scrum Process
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and infer requirements, working in an Agile team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
