Working in an Agile Scrum environment, the Software Test Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager. The role will require working with the Scrum development team and product management team to create and execute test solutions, both manual and automated, for product releases.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or MCA
· Preferably 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer / Analyst
· Working Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle
· Working knowledge of Agile Rally Tool
· Proficient with the HP Mercury Quality Center (ALM) testing tool
· Working Knowledge of QuickTest Professional with hands-on in test scripts creation, creation/maintenance of test framework
Desired:
· Knowledge of monitoring and diagnostics technologies or demonstrated ability to learn product concepts and new technologies
· HP Mercury Certified Professional
· Certified Software Tester (CSTE \ ISTQB)
· Experience in QMS including performing audits and process adherence evaluation
