As a Software Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our central test team. You will play a key role in building the test automation/ performance testing scripts ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about software test automation /performance testing and is eager to learn and grow in their career.
You will be supporting the Test Team to ensure that our applications meet our definition of done and have the potential to be released within our continuous deployment cycle.
Responsibilities
Should be able to Contribute towards building of test automation /performance scripts.
Guided by team members, able to comprehend simple requirements and contributes towards preparing test datasets, writing and execution of the test scripts.
Execute test cases and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
Identify, track, and report defects and issues found during testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that software products are tested thoroughly and meet project goals.
Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
Develop and maintain test documentation related to automation
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in team activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development.
Skills and Experience
Essential
1-3 years of experience in software test automation on API automation.
Familiarity of Automation scripting skills in Selenium, Appium, C# or Java and Jmeter
Knowledge or Familiarity of Test automation/Performance implementation in CI/CD environment.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in using automated testing tools.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of programming languages and development tools.
Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills.
