Responsibilities
General
• Drive Test Engineering best practices from Prototyping to Series Production.
• Leverage World Class R&D and Production Teams both locally and internationally to quickly understand Project requirements, risks, milestones and develop test strategy timing plans and deliverables.
• Project manage internal/external development of P2 test systems
• Drive mindset of Continuous Improvement
• Provide Test System development cost/timeline estimates to support customer RFQs
Test Engineer
• Development/ Integration/ Testing of cutting edge technologies, latest communication standards and automation techniques to the Vale• Test Framework
• Development and evaluation of the latest programming techniques, environment features to understand potential benefits to future/existing processes.
• Leverage World Class R&D and Production Teams both locally and internationally to quickly understand Project requirements, risks, milestones and develop test strategy timing plans and deliverables.
• Project manage internal/external development of P2 test systems/code modules
• Develop test spec, test cases and automate test cases through Test stand
• Experience in
• System requirement analysis
• Test Planning
• Test Environment setting
• Test case Designing
• Test Sequence in TestStand
• Defect reporting in ALM
• Provide informal and formal (documented) training as part of Project handover t• Production
• Exposure to tools like Jenkins, SVN, Doors
Qualification
• Generation Qualification Plan and statistical data t• validate product test strategy
• 2 to 5 years of experience in an engineering position of Verification & Validation engineering, Quality engineering
• Generation of Technical & Training documentation
• Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
• Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
• ISTQB Certification OR equivalent test certification desired
Responsibilities
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Education/Training
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
Professional Experience
Essential
• Minimum 5 Years Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Environment (ideally Automotive/Electronics)
• ISTQB Certification
• Expert in Verification and Validation
• Test Plan / Test Case Development / Testing Execution
• Develop and automate tests for software validation
• Experience in document writing is required, i.e. procedures, specifications, reports, etc.
• General Software Package’s skills – Minitab,DOORS, CoreALM,SVN, Bugzilla, etc.

• NI LabVIEW and TestStand Experience
• Experience in camera Testing
• Experience with Vision based products/applications
