Roles & Responsibilities:
Ownership of Embedded Testing horizontal for Automotive
Single point contact for testing areas for Automotive embedded software
Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
Good knowledge of Continuous Integration & embedded development & safety standards like ISO26262
Work in close collaboration with system requirement engineers and system architects
Contribute to the development of embedded systems practice
Support sales team in client conversations and generate pipeline
Keep upskilling knowledge on technology and industry trends
Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and safety of automotive systems and components.
Working with global teams in promoting and selling offerings
Work with team to hire the right talent of Embedded software validation engineers in Platform software, Middleware, MCAL Autosar and application layers.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Experience in embedded software validation.
Should have good analytical and logical skills.
Proficiency in relevant software test tools and technologies.
Profound knowledge in software unit testing, integration testing and automated release and build management as per Automotive standards.
Institutionalize software test processes compliant with Automotive standards (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE)
Knowledge in automotive technologies such as AUTOSAR , Functional safety or similar tech stack in other industries.
Experience with embedded microprocessors and microcontrollers.
Has experience in leading and managing a team.
Experienced in programming languages such as C/C++
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Automotive SW Validation
AUTOSAR MCAL module validation experience for any of the safety MCUs
Good to have experience in Using Vector Tools (Like Davinci Developer, Configurator, CANOe, CANalyzer, vFlash)
Experience in SDLC tools such as DOOR’s, Enterprise Architecture/ Rhapsody, JIRA, GIT, GITHub and etc,.
Experience to draft and develop Test Plan, Test cases, Test reports at different test phases.
Desired Skills:
Excellent working experience in various platforms such as QNX, Linux, Adaptive Autosar, preferably in ADAS domain
Experience creating and managing the lifecycle of differentiated offerings.
Demonstrated capabilities to generate thought leadership and engaging with analysts and advisors.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Knowledge of Safety partitions and OS configurations as per ASIL levels
Hands on experience in BSW Layer - Driving Architectural topics, Integration, Configuration of Classic AUTOSAR components having worked with one or more AUTOSAR stacks from Elektrobit, Vector, KPIT etc.
Has experience in handling a team
Has prior experience of automotive companies.
