Job Description

Responsible for tracking Software Qualification test and Software Integration test, Software component Test activities.
Manage and support the team on SW Testing activities like defining the test strategy, setting up test framework/test environment, understanding system requirement clearly, test case generation, test design techniques, test procedures (Automation scripting), test execution, reporting, defect tracking, support functions.
Track and prepare the reports for testing activities like Effort estimation, test plan preparation, test results, test case coverage, defects discovered and their status, artifact baselines, etc.
Perform/facilitate reviews for test cases and test plans.
Ensure Quality Assurance - compliance with the processes, standards, and guidelines (ASPICE, ISO 26262, etc.).
Coordinate the test activities across disciplines (System, EE, SW etc.)
Define Test metrics and KPIs.
Close communication with project stake holders/counterparts for the status update, alignment, and reporting.

Skills expected:
Good understanding and expertise on SW Qualification and SW Integration testing.
Experience in Test management/Project Management of 1-2 projects in the Automotive Domain.
Exposure to functional testing, Regression testing, and test Design skills like Test Case Identification, Test Design Techniques, and defect Identification with a focus on Test Coverage.
Ability to analyze the System, Software, and Customer requirements and go beyond the explicit requirements, and derive the automated/manual test cases from it.
Experience in Vector Tools (CANalyzer/CANoe/CANdelaStudio/DIVA/XCP/vTestStudio) and CAN/LIN, UDS Protocol is required.
Knowledge and Experience with ISO 26262 and/or ASPICE standards.
Competent in the usage of tools like POLARION, DOORS, GIT, SVN, JIRA, IBM Jazz Tools.
Experience with Power Electronics, Control systems, DC Voltage or Current Monitoring systems, EV Domain / Battery Management system is an added advantage.
ISTQB SW Testing/ SW Test Management / Test Analyst.
