Responsibilities:
• Analyse functional documents, Plan and create test cases and Review requirements and test cases.
• Escalate any issue that could appear in understanding the functionality of the application.
• Executing the Test Cases & Defect Tracking, Re-test fixes for defects.
• Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date the test cases after some requirement changes were required.
• Work with relevant people with regards to test preparation, test execution, test data and tool usage.
• Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy where possible.
• Facilitate the efficient resolution of issues, by providing initial triage for issue disposition.
• Preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, integration and system testing.
• Prepare and present test reports.
• Participate in daily scrums features planning discussions. Exposure to Agile practices.
• knowledge on core JAVA, selenium, SQL, STLC and SDLC,JIRA,AZURE Test Plan.
• Be responsible for the whole software testing lifecycle (analysing the business requirements, support in preparing the test plans, creating the test cases, monitoring bugs, checking bug fixes)
• Under minimum or no supervision carries out procedures and tests to ensure that information systems and services meet standards and end-user
• Specialize in at least in area like Web APP Functional/Performance/Security testing.
• Exposure to Agile practices – Added advantage
• Automation Testing – Added advantage
• Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Requirements
• Any Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 4 - 8 years of relevant Manual Testing experience
• Knowledge of at least one database management system
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Coordination and leadership skills
