Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and software specifications.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects, issues, and inconsistencies.
Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve reported defects.
Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.
Validate that software meets user requirements and design specifications.
Collaborate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
Participate in the review and improvement of development and testing processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in test case design and execution.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus.
