Responsibilities:
• Test planning, test execution, and reporting for CPE Wi-Fi services validation.
• Interact with multiple stakeholders, Project Manager, Technical contract management teams and Vendors across the board to for connectivity CPE certification.
• CPE lab setup, lab management, for broadband CPEs, wireless gateways and extenders.
• Good testing skills to bring in efficiencies in the network, device quality.
• Execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts
• Identification and resolution of problems and defects; able to initiate investigation processes, identifies and reproduces bugs or defects and drives issues and improvements to resolution
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Experience with broadband product test including Wi-Fi, DOCSIS, Cable Modem standards, VOIP
• Hands-on testing experience in networking and Cable/WiFi technologies using Manual and Automation methodology.
• Good experience in testing cable gateways with Dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Voice features.
• Strong understanding and experience with Network protocols like WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Ethernet, ARP, IPv4, IPv6, IP Subnetting, NAT, TCP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, SFTP, TFTP, basic VoIP (SIP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix working environment
