Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on web applications and Selenium automation.
Strong knowledge of Python programming language and its libraries, specifically for automation and testing.
Selenium and Web Technologies:
In-depth understanding of Selenium WebDriver and its various functionalities for browser automation.
Proficiency in writing Selenium scripts using Python, including the ability to locate and interact with web elements, handle dynamic content, and perform data extraction.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as understanding of web technologies and their impact on automation testing.
Test Automation:
Experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
Ability to create reusable and maintainable test frameworks, test data sets, and test suites.
Understanding of best practices for test automation, including test case design, test data management, and test result analysis.
Software Testing:
Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Familiarity with manual testing concepts and the ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience in performing functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing using Selenium and other testing tools.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of Automation Testing Experience with strong understanding of functional and Automation testing concepts and best practices.
Thorough understanding of Selenium Automation tool and awareness on other tools like J meter/Appium/Rest API
Hands on experience on any one of the programming language (JAVA/ Python)
Strong development concepts and troubleshooting skills
Good experience in working with client, gathering requirements and converting the same into Executables
Good experience in working in a team, team co-ordination, task management, good communication skills etc.
Must have working experience on tools like git/bitbucket/Jenkins
Troubleshooting and Debugging:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and debug issues in Selenium scripts and automated tests.
Proficiency in using browser developer tools and other debugging techniques to investigate and resolve issues encountered during test execution.
Collaboration and Communication:
Good teamwork and collaboration skills, as testers often work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Effective communication skills to document defects, provide test reports, and communicate testing progress to project teams.
