Your primary responsibilities as an SQA Engineer Automation include scripting and creating automation environments for recurring tests. Utilizing various automation tools, you will design, test, and implement efficient test automation solutions. Additionally, you will take the lead in automation processes, employing a range of industry-standard tool sets and collaborating with in-house solutions. Working closely with fellow software engineers and SQAs within the Data and Analytics team, you will actively contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), and other related quality engineering processes
In this role, you will…
Maintain and evolve formal QA policies and processes, ensuring that the team is using industry best practices
Ensure full coverage by automatic tests for clinical and commercial data projects
Work closely with the test team to identify new automation opportunities
Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases
Build and maintain test automation frameworks
Log and document bugs in the tracking system
Set up Continuous Integration
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information
Research, evaluate, and deploy new test tools
Oversee code review and auto tests quality with continuously proposing and implementing
In this role, you’ll need…
4+ years of experience as a QA in software industry.
2+ years of test automation experience.
Strong knowledge of Python.
Experience using off-the-shelf testing and automation tools and developing custom frameworks.
Deep understanding of automation test patterns.
Experience with CI / CD tools, JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, BitBucket
Experience working on cloud platforms – GCP, AWS and Azure (mandate (atleast one )
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Bachelor ’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or related areas
Articulate and communicate problems, challenges, and solutions in English
