Job Description

In a typical day as a System Test Engineer, you would:
Participate in different Agile ceremonies
Part of the System test SCRUM team, you will
Define and execute non-functional tests like endurance, robustness, performance, usability etc.,
Contributing to User Stories based on the expected behavior of the System depicted as Test Cases
Release Planning based on Test Effort and Defects
Sprint Planning based on User Stories and Defects
Sprint Execution with Continuous Testing
Reporting Test Results
Automation Testing

If you have the below Experience, Skills, Education and domain skills;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
5-10 years of Experience;
Domain : Telecom
Mandatory skills
Experience in System Software testing in telecom domain with expertise in following areas
IMS protocols (SIP, Diameter - Ro/Rf/Gy/Rx/Sh)
IN telecom protocols  (CAMEL,INAP,MAP,TCAP)
Hands-on experience on different test tools like SIPP, Seagull and JMeter
System test (Non-Functional) and Performance Testing and Troubleshooting.
Configure and setup test labs and create test plans and document results.
Troubleshoot software issues working with different stakeholders to solve technical issues.
Hands-on experience on Kubernetes environment

Good to have:
Experience in Building tools that automate the system tests.
Container orchestration like OpenShift, Azure, AWS
DevOps experience with CI/CD pipeline (like Jenkins), automated testing platforms and chaos monkey testing.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ansible, python and Jenkins working knowledge.

Soft skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to combine teamwork with individual contributions
