As a Specialist Testing Automation, you will be responsible for leading Automation test harness focused on product functionality, test script creation / execution, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility of our products. You will provide recommendations to improve software programs based on the results. With the support of your team you will be responsible to design test framework, create, execute and automate new and existing test cases.
What will you do?
Design/update new test harnesses for Automation Testing.
Design and Develop the Automated solution for Some and Sanity Test for various repeatable tests.
Create and execute automated test scripts using UFT tool (Required) OR Selenium tool (Preferred) Job scheduling by Jenkins or Gitlab.
Execute test plans according to project priorities. Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
Participate in the development and support of the testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously.
Performs in depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers solutions to the development team to resolve the problem
Work closely with developers and/or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues.
What do you need to know?
Strong experience in managing automation test projects.
Expertise in building automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs Proven experience with Desktop based testing
Experience with QA automation tools such as UFT (Required) OR Selenium (Preferred), Jenkins. Solid experience scripting using VB Script, understanding of Framework Design, computer science concepts such as variables, data types, strings manipulations, regular expressions
Familiar with quality assurance principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures. Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving Experience with test management and defect tracking software tools.
Work in a collaborative environment and working in a rapidly changing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work exp /at least 10+ years in QA Automation role.
