8+ years of industry experience as an ETL/BI tester.
Create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components and mentor the junior team
Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.
Expert in DWH, Reports and Dashboards testing with excellent SQL skills
Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture
Good understanding of QA methodologies, software testing life cycle and processes.
Working knowledge of test management tools like Microfocus ALM / Bugzilla / Visual Studio Test Manager /Maven /JIRA /qTest / TestLink/ TestRail/ Zephyr
Hands-on experience in any of the ETL Tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend
Hands-on experience in at least one or few databases like Postgres or MySQL or SQL Server or Oracle or AWS Redshift.
Keeps abreast of current technology trends
Has ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and minimal supervision
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Should be able to manage client communication, Demos and UAT
