- Total experience: 5 to 9 years;
- Qualifications: A recognised degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Person with good communication skill and ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic/agile/cross team/cross location set up
- Ensuring software quality at all stages of the life cycle effectively collaborating with engineers on the team,
- Experience of testing within an Agile environment, adapting quickly to changing situations
Required technical skills:
- 5 to 9 years of experience in QA Testing with Selenium, Java, BDD (Behavioral Driven Development)/Cucumber skills.
- Min. 4+ yrs. of experience in testing Duck Creek Policy admin system including different components like Rating, Forms, Express, Integrations etc.
- Understanding of Duck Creek manuscript configurations and associated limitations
- Strong Commercial Specialty Insurance domain knowledge
- Ability to automate in parallel with development by effective collaboration
- In-depth experience of test planning, analysis, and scripting (automated and manual).
- Working knowledge of technologies like XML, XSLTand ability to work effectively with xPath, Jason, scripting objects
- Working knowledge of testing APIs and integrations with automated frameworks
- Strong knowledge of test data management & experience in database testing using SQL queries
Nice to have skills:
- Exposure to working with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity to DevOps tools and processes (Jenkins/Gitlabs/Azure DevOps etc.,)
- Prior exposure to TDD (Test Driven Development) is nice to have
